OCTOBER 31
HALLOWEEN RUTSFEST

Great night of music, fireworks and errrm refreshments! I dropped a stick about 15 seconds into the first song, and Philip managed to pull his lead out for half of Suffragette City, but despite this no disasters which after one rehearsal and with Mark as guest singer was quite frankly a miracle : ) Great feedback about one of our new numbers as well, Bohemian Like You, by The Dandy Warhols.

OCTOBER 31
HALLOWEEN RUTSFEST

The Endless Summer will be playing at Halloween Rutsfest this year after a 1 year absence. We will be a slightly different lineup. Rob unfortunately has prior engagements and can't make it so we have former WuB front man Mark Shaoul standing in for what should be a round up of WuB and Endless Summer favourites.

Mark and Philip will also be performing a Bowie medley downstairs on the accoustic stage.

FUNDRAISING GIG FOR MACMILLAN CANCER RESEARCH

Great gig last week for Macmillan Cancer Research.

Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves, and loads of money was raised for a great cause. Big thanks to Rob for organising the whole thing, and to Geraldo Cantarino for the great pics.

NOVEMBER 1  HALLOWEEN RUTSFEST

Great fun at "Gutsfest" last Saturday. Rob turned up in true rock and roll style straigh from the airport with minutes to spare before his acoustic set. The Endless Summer played straight after and as usual played a flawless set without any mistakes !!! Honestly : ))

All the bands were great, and thanks to all who turned up to support us...and them.

NOVEMBER 1   HALLOWEEN RUTSFEST

The Endless Summer will be frightening the neighbours at Gutsfest, Saturday 1st November.

Old Ruts, Poplar Road SW19, 8 till late.

SEPTEMBER 26   ANGEL GIG

Great gig at The Angel last Saturday, hope everybody had fun. A BIG thank you to all who came and supported us, and also to Michael and Molly from The Angel for their hospitality and free beer for the band, (sure we drank more than they thought we could!) See you at the Blood and Guts Fest 1st November.

SEPTEMBER 8   REHEARSALS START

First rehearsal last night at the Cobham Studio for two months. All a bit rusty, but not too many f*ck ups. Tried out a new song which went well, hopefully we'll be able to include it in the upcoming Angel gig.

SEPTEMBER 20   END OF SUMMER GIG AT THE ANGEL

After a successful early summer round of gigs which included supporting The Funkin' Skunks in Cobham as part of The Mole Music Club, two of out first paid gigs in Dorking, and Tonbridge Wells (we're officially "professional"!) The Endless Summer have taken a well earned summer break. We are now back in Niall's rehearsal studio in Cobham getting back into the swing of things for "The Endless Summer plays the End of the Summer" gig at The Angel, Thames Ditton. This should hopefully be a hot and sweaty booze filled party night. We're on home territory so come along and let your hair down. We will be ;)x
